I chose this example as I liked the clean simplicity of the contrasting uppercase and lowercase sans serif font.

Production method: Lead.
Anatomy: Bone straight stems, squared of terminals, sans serif font with consistent stem weights, regular weight, combination of uppercase & lowercase, short descender on the 'p'
Identity: Functional font, very legible and classy looking for use on a champagne bottle.
Character: Accurate, minimal, clean, almost square structure in characters like H, T, perfect geometrical roundness in O, symmetrical.

Another from typo the que, the supernova font family.

Production methods: A digital creation of a script/bone originated font.

Anatomy: Versatile line weights and cuts within the terminal ends create contrasting light and heavy elements with no regular pattern apparent. Bellow is examples of all the family styles. The terminal ends are round though not sharp like usual script fonts this is quite soft making me feel it could be created with a sable brush too.

Identity: Designed between 2009-2012 and released in 2013 by Martina Flor and I think it would be used for headers on invitations and special events like weddings.

Character: Slightly decorative and elegant in its light weight faces with much better legibility of individual glyphs giving overall better readability within context off a body of text. Its also a lot more structured than other scripts which are usually a fair deal more decorative and floral and loose within there spirals and swirls that come off the terminal ends of the strokes like seen in the poster version. The black version is beginning to be high impact but starts to become more playful and soft due to the increased visibility of the roundness at the end off the strokes.

Production method: Lead
Anatomy: Consistant line weight, sans serif font with extended characters/glyphs that appear stretched out, all uppercase, the weight is maybe medium? Slightly heavier than a regular font. Positive tracking of glyph helps you appreciate each character in solo.
Identity: Used on a perfume bottle, I would say its a modern font that portrays elegance due to the high end feel of the packaging.
Character: Extended/stretched glyphs, quite simple too.

Production method: Digital.
Anatomy: Oversized very round serif, sharp and extremely thin and delicate serif, very pointed joint at the bottom left of the glyph, angular terminal end on the right. Lots of contrast going on. Large pt size.
Identity: Neoclassical serif. Roman.
Character: Shadow, bold, loud, colorful, experimental, contrasting, musical.

Production method: Digital production, would be hard to replicate this with hot metal type due to the intricate curves within the bowl of characters and the sharp "teeth" on the "o"
Anatomy: Consistant line weight with slight flicks at the end of the ear of the 'a' and the end of the 'm' character I wouldn't class it as a serif font from these though. I feel there there to help add a certain sharpness too the logo. Theres an inconstancy in the structure of the characters, the 'r's are very condensed while the 'm' seems slightly more extended, the 'b' has a very short ascender and large fully body bowl making it feel very solid.
Identity: Modern design with gothic aesthetics through the sharp angular elements.
Character: Initially simple and minimal with detailed decorative elements to give it a better aesthetic for a logo.

Production method: Will have been a digital font derived from a sable production method.
Anatomy: Fluid motion within the strokes, very rounded off terminals which work with the fluid motion of the strokes, long ascender on the 'l' on this lowercase logo.
Identity: A modern spin on a traditional script like font playing on the idea of joined up handwriting.
Character: Playful, childlike, unbalanced, the 'o' is a perfect circle when the rest is very playful and loose in its structure.

Production method: A digital creation derived from hand rendered analogue font.
Anatomy: Angular strokes, overlapping strokes, consistant heavy weight of strokes, follows no baseline or type guidelines as its an analogue font based on graffiti, very bold font and sharp angles on the apex and no curves used in the whole set of glyphs.
Identity: Logo for urban clothing, so has a graffiti style to link to this style. Quite conceptual in that sense.
Character: Graffiti stye, decorative and almost illegible, very image based, has a certain robustness too it through the scruffiness and the rough texture of the strokes.

Production method: Digital. The pattern inside suggest digital but the basic structure says a wood block origin.
Anatomy: Very robust and square glyphs, no curves in any of the glyphs. No really apex's in terms of angles either. Everything is on a 90 degree angle. Very heavy bold weight, with equal strokes on horizontal and vertical positioning.
Identity: Logo, very modern.
Character: Robust, solid, illusion imagery within the glyphs making it quite sophisticated.

Production method: Digital production method, the basic outline inspired by a sans serif font classification of the gothic font category.
Anatomy: Sharp angular joins on the Z, with a squared off apex on the A. Very angular construction all in uppercase, no curves or delicacy.
Identity: Logo
Character: Strong, angular, decorative and almost industrial, looks like planks of wood that make up the glyphs in sections of cross bars, horizontal strokes, diagonal strokes and vertical strokes.

Production method: Serif font classification, roman catogory and originates from stone traditional methods.
Anatomy: Subtle curves in the brackets of the serifs, contrasting line weight in the stems and bowls of the characters, short ascenders, regular weight.
Identity: Traditional font production to simulate heritage for the high end market of cars they sell.
Character: Robust, sturdy glyphs, has a very industrial feel to simulate german quality and engineering, although contrasting in weight with the stems has a nice balance overall.

Production method: Digital production method, sans serif font classification though in the gothic category.
Anatomy: Soft curves, beveled edges on the square like O, instead of been geometric and round its quite square and robust. Medium weight of stems, constant weight throughout, very short descender, all the bends and joins are on a 90 degree angle but have a very soft edge to the corners. This gives it structure and a solid appearance but doesn't make it look too industrial and sharp, still appears modern and quite playful.
Identity: Modern, functional logo.
Character: Playful, minimal, quite elegant yet also structured and solid glyphs, very stable in there appearance due to angular strokes, theres no curve in the spine of the S, or the bowl of the O so it sits well on the baseline guideline giving it a feeling of been rooted down and sturdiness.

Production method: Digital production method, sand serif classification, lead production method is the main influence yet this wouldn't be able to be produced in lead due to the softness of the ends of the terminals and strokes.
Anatomy: Condensed glyphs, constant line weight, a medium weight uppercase font with a soft feel to the bevels and the stroke terminals.
Identity: Informative, functional logo.
Character: Simple, childlike, bubbly and soft appearance, left aligned, reversed out type colour.

Production method: Stencil style almost but I think it would originate from lead. Sans serif classification and gothic category.
Anatomy: Heavy weight vertical strokes contrast with lighter weight horizontals. Overall bold weight. Uppercase and extended width on characters.
Identity: Logo, functional.
Character: Stretched, irregular, stretched counters, image based logo. Doesn't really suggest a technical telecoms type business though.

Production method: Lead, Sans serif font, gothic.
Anatomy: Very thin, short descender, lowercase, large bowls.
Identity: Conceptual logo.
Character: Delicate, simple, clean, geometric.

Production method: Wood block.
Anatomy: Monospaced, ultrabold, made up of shapes, lowercase.
Identity: Logo.
Character: Simple construction, minimal design elements, contrasting circular and angular shapes. Industrial, tightly kerned, layered, overlaid, transparent.
