Real problems & Graphic solutions

Real problems & Graphic solutions

Aids us in understanding real problem solving skills.
In a group of 4 we will resolve a task based on politics.

Find one specific problem or issue to research further within politics, research into this problem using intensive strategic research on this problem as a team.

After exploring potential issues as a group we decided to look into "The truth behind 10 Downing Street, what you don't know"

From this, plan and develop a graphic solution or response to address/resolve this issue, no need for creating a final product focus on a solution or an idea to understanding and addressing this issue.

Every graphic decision needs to be considered and influenced by the problem, e.g color, positioning, typeface, image, all needs to be influenced by these problems. Think about the problem, not the aesthetic.

Our concept was to use a TV documentary as a medium of communicating these problems, much like the dispatches documentaries, this method of communication often suites political issues so the graphic response we focused on was an animated logo for the documentary.

Rough scamps.

Presentation & Proposal

GIF Logo.
The idea behind the logo was to show the door of 10 downing street as a public image through the use of a simple aesthetic, as this is all the public really see, the logo will then unpick/unravel to reveal the documentary tittle "The truth behind 10 Downing street, what you don't know", this emulates how these secrets are hidden behind this public image of the location that makes all this countries "important decisions".
