Production method: Woodblock. Gothic.
Anatomy: Angular elements instead of curves creating a sort of hexagon style aesthetic, medium weigh, consistent line weight, uppercase, squared of terminals. 
Identity: Sans serif, based on a square grotesque style in context of a Tshirt design. 
Character: Hexagon shape influences, squared off curves. 

Production method: Hand rendered in chalk. 
Anatomy: Uppercase, contrasting line weight, uneven stems. 
Identity: Book cover header font.
Character: Irregular, inconsistent, scribble, scruffy. 

Production method: Lead or stone. Roman font. 
Anatomy: Subtle triangular serifs, very small in contrast to the consistent heavy weight strokes, small aperture in counters.
Identity: Glyphic serif.
Character: Image incorporated with type, medieval style, very moody sort of aesthetics. 

Production method: Lead. Gothic. 
Anatomy: Round edges of terminals and joints, short stems, medium weight lines, no curves, uppercase.
Identity: Modern style of grotesque sans serif. 
Character: Compressed and sturdy characters with equal width and height. Light hearted, softness. 

Production method: Lead. Gothic. 
Anatomy: Light weight line weights, lowercase, very short ascender, very short stokes coming off glyphs with bowls, contrasting larger weight dot over the 'j' 
Identity: Geometric sans serif. 
Character: Delicate, geometric, simple, balanced, consistent.
